The Hooda Math movies include songs, raps, and cartoons. Like Panda Fractions:

I had never heard of Hooda Math before reading your blog, Liz. It's a great resource! I spent a little time exploring Math Apps and found the timed tests. It occurred to me that these timed tests could be a helpful tool in data collection for a math intervention or for data analysis as a part of an IIT case. At my school, many students are referred to IIT for weak fact retrieval and a common suggestion is for these students to spend a few minutes a day playing math games or using flashcards to encourage recall. However, data collection from online games is tricky, especially if the student needs help documenting their progress over time. This would be a helpful solution. The only drawback is that there is no way to control what facts are being assessed. Nonetheless, it's a good one to keep in mind. Thanks for sharing!
